Dang...

t's been a long time since I've been back to visit. I think I may just have to fly out and see how everybody is doing... but I think I might wait for the permafrost to break. Yes, I'm getting spoiled out here on the west coast. Sure, we have the occasional earthquake, but it's nothing compared to the bone-chilling cold that is a guaranteed occurance each winter in Nebraska.

In local news here, I can report that Dennis Rodman was recently sited at the BoomBoomRoom (the legendary gay bar) here in Laguna Beach. Mr. Rodman was appropriately attired in jeans and a jersey shirt, although as a person who stood next to him for some time, I submit that a person with Dennis's income should be able to afford a can of Right Guard. He smelled as if he just completed a full-court press. 

Word on the street is that the Diva herself, Miss Whitney Houston, has taken residence here, but she has not as of yet been spotted by any of my lookouts forraging for crack on Pacific Coast Highway.

And finally, Barbara Streisand was confirmed to be staying at the Surf & Sand hotel - just a block away from The Boom - while she is visiting a local dermitologist. Sources tell me that during daylight hours, she is kept in a state of suspended animation in a chemical bath, in a futile effort to reverse the aging process.
